Our last Sunday all together!

Our dear friend Malcolm organised a PicNic, at first when he decided this (about a month back) we all mocked him and said a Picnic in march is never going to work, however of course NY is going through some sort of freak heatwave it was perfect!

Nearly 90% of our original intake have now finished their programs, some left after 3months at Xmas, and only the very few (the rich ones!) are staying for a whole year, so yesterday was the last time that we were going to see each other, as now we don't have a set timetable we probably won't hang around as much at BDC in our last week, especially as the weather is soooo good! (26degrees together!) Also some people are heading home the beginning of this week.

We said our 'see you soons' to Malcolm as he was heading home to Maryland last night and wasn't coming back to New York before we head to Vegas! At least we know that we will always be able to see him when we are back in NY as a US Citizen he can stay as long as he likes!

Before he left he showed us the TOKEN American treat, 'S'mores'.

1. Graham Crackers (Wafer biscuits)
2. Hersheys (Dairy Milk)
3. Fluff spread or Marshmallow

For legitimate S'mores you're meant to toast the marshmallow before putting it inside the cracker and then it melts the chocolate, but as we were in the park, and fire is illegal...we settled for sun melted chocolate instead!

The S'mores are really good an we shall be spreading this trend around UK!

It was all a bit too much fun for Grandad Sam though, having a kip on the rock, and now has a rather pink face!
