My Birthday Present!

Today we went to watch the New York Knicks basketball team play at Madison Square Garden which was one of my presents from Rosina! I was feeling like an excited child again (at aged 24) from the moment I woke up.

Madison sq garden is a multi genre area in Midtown Manhattan, with the worlds 3rd fastest ticket sales!
It holds numerous different amounts of people, depending whether it is a concert, hockey game, basketball game etc, but today there were 18,000 spectators for the basket ball game.

Rosina promised to buy me some merchandise, so I got a New York Knicks vintage tee, and a token big finger!

No food or drinks were allowed inside the area but the refreshments werent over priced at all, so hotdogs and a drink did us fine for lunch!

Oh and of course some candy floss for Rosina too!

The game has 4 quarters each at 12 minutes, but with numerous time outs so we had lots of inshow entertainment, The New York Knicks Dancers, it was kids day, so we also had the New York Knicks Kids, a phenomenal jump roping routine and also some crowd entertaining games, and tshirt tosses!

The game in basketball terms wasn't the best, NY Knicks lost quite drastically, the intense followers around us practically lost hope in bringing this one home, however for us, it was a great fun day out!

Thanks Rosina for such a thoughtful once in a lifetime gift!

Videos of the game will come soon, however we werent allowed to take large cameras into the spectators stands (we read this and left it at home) so the pictures and footage are from the iPad, not the best quality but still pretty good!
