Books, Books and more Books

Although a big fan and owner of a Kindle..there is something about holding and buying an actual book, however as a Self Employed dancer who reads books really fast...the Kindle is far more cost effective and very light in my bag that already weighs a ton due to numerous dance shoes and clothing changes!

We visited Barnes and Noble today...the largest book retailer in the US, complete with coffee shop and comfortable seats, similar to Waterstones etc. They have their own take on the Kindle which is called a Nook,  as well as extensive book collections. We were on a mission to find reasonably cheap guide books on LA and Vegas, but couldn't remember the make we were looking for (to match the NY one, a collection we are going to expand!) so we ended up browsing!

Exiting the store, on a sunny saturday, the street vendors were out in force, there are a lot of book sellers on the streets of NY, selling vintage and special books, I am determined to find a 'special' book from one of these men, what it will be ...who knows! Sam however hopes that it won't be too heavy to travel with, as he may end up carrying it!
