Our teaching expertise was asked upon to help some friends (of one of our advisors) to gain some confidence for their first dance of their wedding next week. With our teaching experience as well as the fact we are an engaged couple too it was a perfect combination! So this evening, up in the 8th floor annex studio, we choreographed and perfected a simple but effective wedding dance with the couple. It was a lot of fun and definitely something we will look into doing at home, but has set some targets for the expectations of our first dance...lets hope our Foxtrot is as good as Grandad Tiffins...! We can at least say that....'We've taught at Broadway Dance Centre Studios New York'!
Fun little game for you 'dancers' reading this, we had a cha cha, a lift, a interesting little box step and a waltz all fitting to the below piece of music...(yes a cross phrased waltz for a pair of beginner dancers)...have a go!
