Tea and Sympathy!

Woke up late...not hungover but peckish...craved a good old English roast dinner...found one...!

In the Greenwich village there is a little English restaurant attached to a shop that sells English treats. One would never realise the ecstasy when you see Salad Creme is on the shelves to be bought when for the last 3months 'Ranch' dressing has been the pathetic substitute!

'Tea and Sympathy' had been scouted before by Rosina who was on a mission to find Mars bars and we had checked out the menu online.

Rosina had roast chicken and Sam had roast beef, with all the trimmings, washed down a Ribena and a Lilt! It was amazing and such a cute little place with only 23seats in total (we had to queue outside for 45mins) but it was worth it, to be able to have a semi-normal New Years day!

Didn't get dessert there as we were stuffed but bought some custard to have with our christmas pudding tonight and a treacle tart for another night!!
