Museum Mile!

Museum Mile is the name for a section of Fifth Avenue in Manhattan in the city of New York, in the United States, running from 82nd to 104th streets on the Upper East Side in a neighborhood known as Carnegie Hill.
The 10 museums in Museum Mile (which is two blocks longer than exactly one mile!) are;
Museum of African Art
El Museo del Barro
Museum of the City of New York
The Jewish Museum
Cooper-Hewitt International Design Museum
Soloman R. Guggenheim Museum
Neue Galerie New York
Goethe-Institut
The Metropolitan Museum of Art. (The Met)

Yesterday Sam and I visited ' the Met', this museum houses over 2million works and is divided into 19 different cultural departments.

Our personal favourite sections were;
Arms and Armour (which reminded Rosina of Bed Knobs and Broomsticks!)

Arts of Africa, Oceania and the America's

Asian Art

Drawings and Prints

Egyptian Art and the Special Exhibit of The Temple of Dendur

European Decorative Arts

Greek and Roman Art

Musical Instruments

We had a great day being cultural, spent all day at the museum as it is now very, very cold, flustering of snow, although by late afternoon the jokes began...
