Secret Santa! and IceSkating in Central Park!

Tonight Sam, myself and Natalie helped organise Secret Santa for our October Intake ISVP! A rather impossible task with 10 different languages taking part, people bailing at the last minute and trying to locate the exact Santa drop off at the correct Starbucks without Smartphones!!

Anyway! All 38 gifts were brought and exchanged with only one coming in a little bit late! Didn't really stay a secret but hey! (Rosina recieveing a rather nice scarf (thanks Nicole!) and Sam a H&M voucher (which seems like was actually from Santa!!) We then planned on going into Central Park and Iceskating at the famous Trump Wollman Rink! It was quite pricey so only a few of us ended up doing it (Having budgeted for so long in London, we are doing well here, the importance of once in a lifetime activities such as this, comes before having takeaways!). The rink is set in scenic Central Park, edged with trees and skyscrapers! It is a massive rink, with lounge, outdoor patio, cafe and skate hire and was surprisingly not too busy! The Northern Europeans (Sweden, Netherlands, Finnland) were brilliant at skating but then its normal for them to Skate on lakes, as was Tomoyo from Japan! Sam not so good, Rosina getting better (considering it was her 2nd time ever on iceskates!!).

It's getting pretty cold here now, the park was -1degrees Celcius tonight on the ice. I think we have been pretty lucky though, this is the coldest it has been so far and its only just turned this cold! Hoping that is stays mild with no snow etc for our families to get here (10 days!) and our friends who are going home to get home for christmas!!

Check out Ice Princess Rosina (Jack Wills Ear Muffs of course - 'Fabulously British!')
