Performing at the Mets Stadium!

Today was Rosina's turn for some performing here in NYC! BDC was asked to perform a flash mob set for a charity gala for 'Nephcure' ( a kidney disease charity) at Caesars Bar at the Mets Stadium! A Yellow School bus picked us up and took us all into Queens with a lovely view of the Manhattan skyline!  The flash mob was rehearsed with 30 dancers, ISVP's, Pro Semesters and Professionals after classes each week. It had three parts; a Lindy Hop flash mob to Sing Sing Sing (Shout out to Malcolm my lovely partner!) which was lead into by the Charity Auction, and one girl shouting a bet for $100,000 which definitely got the audiences attention! Followed by a Hiphop section to Empire State of mind, still very 'flash-mobby' due to us dancing around the tables and bar of people milling about and then finally a kick line to the old fave 'New York, New York'. This was all performed in 1940's style costumes, as there was only time to change from Character shoes to Sneakers (Americanism!). The audience loved it!

We were there all day teching and were treated really well to a dressing room looking over the Pitch...The press room!

My favourite girlies!

Lovely Malcolm!

Panto babes take note, look how tidy my dressing room top is (left hand side) in comparison to Dannielles!

It will be the last time I see some of the Pro Sememsters as their course finnishes this weekend and I've taken all 12 of my classes already, (yes 12 in three days was intense) so I wish them lots of luck!

There is a short video below, its a very rough rehearsal of about 10seconds of each section blended into one just for laughs! I hope to get some actual footage soon!
