Brooklyn has 852 drinking fountains...

Today we did a bit of sight seeing, starting off in FAO Schwarz (the oldest toy retailer in North America, similar to our Hamleys) scouting some presents for our lovely God-Daughter Ella! Some highlights; the zoo of soft toys, Barbie Football table, speciality dolls and 'Big Piano'!

We then ventured to a different borough of NY, Brooklyn, walking across the Brooklyn Bridge,

and had a little adventure around some neighbourhoods in Brooklyn. We walked across the bridge, down the promenade and into an area called Boerum Hill, which has lots of little boutiques, vintage shops and cupcake stalls...(Sam had a Chocolate Pumpkin Cheesecake and Rosina had Red Velvet).
We then walked into a residential area called Cobble Hill where we found a Graffiti wall with chalk entitled 'Before I die'....

and then through to the newly commissioned Brooklyn Bridge park before returning across the 1.3mile bridge, enjoying the sunset over the amazing skyline and the Statue of Liberty!

Finished off after walking up Broadway from Downtown, in BBQ at TimesSquare for a massive (but cheap tea) and some Cocktails! Preparing now for the Performance at BDC tomorrow!
